Some moviemakers, not contented with censorship restrictions, have set lurid overtones in their works. Oddly enough, there was a certain number of films with dubious scenes, released in the Soviet Union.

Don’t Grieve comedy («Не горюй!», directed by Georgi Daneliya, produced by Mosfilm Studios and Georgian Film Studios, 1969) contains a scene, where young physician is forced to kiss the soft rear part of a general’s body. By the way, the general with enormous moustaches closely resembles a legendary Soviet soldier Semyon Budennyi (1883 – 1973).

The Tree of Wishes («Древо желания», directed by Tengiz Abuladze, produced by Georgian Film Studios, 1977) depicts the life of a Georgian village before the Russian Revolution. Among other things, there is the REAL Manneken-Pis, who has performed his simple act upon a mature woman.

Guard Me, My Talisman («Храни меня, мой талисман», directed by Roman Balayan, produced by Dovzhenko Film Studios (Ukraine), 1986) is the story about a would-be love triangle with the Russian classical literature as a background. At a crucial moment, the failed lover indecently pours dirt upon the face of the unconscious husband.
